Carmignano is a historic DOC, and takes its name from the wall constructed by the Medici family in an effort to enclose and delineate the first controlled wine appellation in Italy. The wine is seriously structured with wonderfully integrated tannins and fruit. We would pair this with Finocchiona, an italian salami, and chunks of Grana Padano.
