Victorian Turquoise Paste Rivière Necklace aluminum 52ct Blue Sapphire - certifiedDATE: Victorian, c. 1860 A gorgeous antique rivire necklace set with 25 turquoise paste gemstones. The oval faceted stones are set in closed foil backed settings, they're uniform in size and display the most beautiful vivid colour. It's crafted in silver throughout with a hook and eye clasp, and it dates from the Victorian period, circa 1860. 17 inches wearable length. Paste gemstones were popular throughout the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras.
