On hold for g yahoo Georgian Conch Hand With Collection Of Amulets Pendant norwegian sometimes described as the lastDATE: Georgian, c. 1830 A spectacular Georgian pendant formed as a conch hand, clutching a set of four carved mother of pearl and coral amulets. Most likely made in Italy as a souvenir for some young English Grand Tourer to bring home (and to show off how educated they had become, of course). My guess is that all of these were lucky to the people of their time. With fittings for wear on a chain, it dates from the early 19th century, circa 1830. STONES
