'Piparello' Montefalco Rosso Riserva 2018 mother The Hobo CompanyLocated on a hilltop in Montefalco at 1300 feet above sea level, the Pipparello vineyards vines are a minimum of 20 years old. A blend of 60% Sangiovese, 25% Montepulciano, and 15% Sagrantino, the varietals are harvested in the middle of October and macerated for 40 50 days. The wine spends a year in stainless steel tanks, two years in large oak barrels, and an additional year of bottle aging. All of this results in a beautiful wine full of
