Antique English Minton Majolica Blue Pottery Beer Jug Pitcher, Circa 1870 Decorative Arts This is an artist proofAntique English Minton majolica jug pitcher, circa 1870. A very handsome majolica jug, with a cobalt blue background, the spout of the jug is decorated with a yellow glazed mask of a gentleman. The neck having ring turning below a scrolled handle, the globular shaped body decorated with raised yellow glazed four leaf clover devices. The jug stands on a raised ring turned foot, the underside with a full set of impressed marks including "Minton", model
