Nepenthes ovata, BE-3133 intermediate The taxonomy of Nepenthes dactylifera
Description
The taxonomy of Nepenthes dactylifera has been recently revised
The jury is still out on the leaf insertion and undulating leaves (which don’t appear on pure undulatifolia until they are much larger)
It would be worth a try in a sunny windowsill or outside in a mild climate
Nepenthes spathulata has always been one of our favorite species
A new cross from Borneo Exotics that should be absolutely incredible
Nepenthes ovata, BE-3133 intermediate The taxonomy of Nepenthes dactyliferaThis highland species comes from the Barisan Range in Sumatra. Its a stunning species. The robust lower pitchers have wide, flared peristomes that can be orange, yellow or red with beautiful striping. The lower pitchers often darken as they mature. The upper pitchers have colorful striping on the peristomes and are infundibular shaped. Weve found this species to be quite a climber and have had plants with stems >15 feet long. Weve observed Nepenthes
