Victorian diamond ring set in 18ct gold with a black enamel surround
Measurements: 5cmx 4cm at widest point
This pendant exemplifies the elegance of the Liberty style
The N is surmounted by a viscount’s coronet which was an appointment made after his victory at the Battle of the Nile in 1798 and the B is surmounted by a ducal coronet representing the Sicilian dukedom of Bronte which was conferred by Ferdinand IV of the Two Sicilies in 1779
